Manheim Pike, Lancaster, PA
Extensive utility relocation and demolition was required to prepare the site for this 33,000 SF facility. The sales facility is a new structure with eight indoor vehicle displays and four exterior vehicle displays under a radiused canopy. A drive-thru reception area links the showroom with a new section of service area which was added to an existing shop that was improved to form a service facility to meet our client’s needs, including 21 service bays, car wash, parts storage with automated distribution, and tool room. Four waste oil boilers serve an in-floor radiant heat system for the service facility and most of the sales facility, plus sidewalk snowmelt capabilities. Glass cubes were used at the façade to envelop the new car delivery area and retail parts display. This prominent architectural feature is eye-catching from the Manheim Pike.
