Warwick Community Ambulance Association
North Lane, Lititz, PA

Emergency healthcare begins with arrival of the ambulance and the start of sophisticated medical procedures using on board equipment such as defibrillator, airway equipment, oxygen, IV, EKG, intubation, preliminary blood analysis and medications. EKG diagnostic results are sent ahead en route to the hospital to maximize hospital preparedness for patient recovery. Professional Design & Construction, Inc. provided full planning, architectural, engineering and construction services to support this emergency room on wheels for the emergency center’s 4,500 s.f. expansion. The expanded garage houses ambulances and emergency rescue vehicles while five second floor offices and conference/training room provide for emergency communication, patient coordination, planning and administrative uses.
